Corrie has over 14 years experice in the construction and fabrication industries. He was employed as a Piping & Mechanical Project Construction Site Manager position within the hydrocarbons industry on the WFGD Plant (the first plant in Africa) and has been in supervision /management positions for the past 8 years. Corrie’s primary role was to manage and co-ordinate the fabrication and installation of piping and mechanical works, as well as supporting and overseeing Sub-Contractors in related projects. Corrie has extensive working experience within the Oil and Gas and Power Generation Sector encompassing a variety of fields such as piping, rotating and static equipment and structural steel. This has led Corrie to work in such diverse environments as Foster Wheeler FTWEP Project (Sasol) Sasol 1 Sasolburg, the Kusile Power Station and the Medupi Power Station (Eskom).
Since joining Infratec as a Site Manager in 2018, Corrie has been working on delivering the 1.1MWp Solar PV plant on Nauru.
