Business Development Manager
David has worked in the process engineering, project management and business development fields for 30 years with a focus of sustainability, energy management , and renewable energy technologies for the last 9 years. Areas of involvement have included photovoltaic systems, battery storage systems, solid and liquid biofuels, geothermal technology, demand side management, and energy efficiency projects.
Prior to working with Infratec Ltd, David was the Energy Specialist at the Nelson Marlborough District Health Board, with responsibilities to manage procurement and utilisation of a multi-million dollar energy portfolio.
Previous roles include private consulting to the process engineering and renewable energy industries, sustainability consulting to the Nelson and Tasman business community with the Nelson Tasman Regional Development Agency, and a business development role throughout Japan, Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, and Indonesia with JWI Inc.,
David founded Black Sheep Touring Company in 1994 , a high end inbound tourism operation. David continues to serve on the board of directors for Black Sheep Touring Co to date.
David has two teenage children and spends leisure time playing tennis, hiking, and playing bass in a midlife crisis progressive rock band.
