Greg has worked in a range of technical and management roles in the energy industry for the last 25 years across South Africa and New Zealand. This included 12 years in technical, planning and scheduling and business development roles in the oil and gas industry with Sasol, Caltex and the New Zealand Refining Company. Following this, his career focussed on new low emission technology development and commercialisation and subsequent large project execution as General Manager at Solid Energy.
Most recently Greg held the role of Group Manager for the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority’s Market Engagement Group. This group delivers transformational market change programmes that result in cost-effective energy savings and the accelerated uptake of renewable energy across the New Zealand business, residential and transport markets.
Greg brings energy sector knowledge and networks, technology development and commercialisation, large project execution and market engagement expertise to Infratec, our portfolio of projects and our customers.
Training and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering, University of the Witwatersrand (1993)
- Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Business Management and Operations Research, University of South Africa (2000)
- National certificate in First Line Management, NZQA (2006)
