Micah has over 15 years of experience working as an engineer and project manager in the low-energy building, energy efficiency and renewable energy fields. Since joining Infratec in 2014, Micah has worked in business development, project delivery and engineering. He has been involved in delivering a variety of EPC projects in the Pacific including a 170kW rooftop solar project in Tuvalu, a 960kW solar project at the Rarotonga Airport, and he was both the project manager and PV design engineer for an ADB funded project in the Cook Island’s Southern Group which delivered PV-diesel hybrid power systems (up to 477kWp/3.6MWh) on four Islands and won the Sustainable Energy Association of New Zealand 2018 Industry awards: “Best Community Energy Project”.
He also concurrently managed a separate ADB funded EPC project which upgraded the medium and low voltage networks on two of these islands. Most recently, he has been providing technical support for Infratec’s NZMATES (New Zealand – Maluku Access to Renewable Energy Support) project.
