Micah has 15 years of experience working as an engineer and project manager in the low energy building, energy efficiency and renewable energy fields. Micah has a diverse range of experience and during his career, he has worked for the US Department of Energy, Utilities, NGOs and contracting companies. Micah has worked on projects in the US, New Zealand, the Torres Strait, China, Tuvalu and the Cook Islands.
Since joining Infratec, Micah has worked on a variety of energy projects in the pacific including a 170kW rooftop solar project in Tuvalu and a 960kW solar project at the Rarotonga Airport. He is currently the project manager for an ADB funded project delivering solar PV mini-grids on four of the Southern Group of Cook Islands - Atiu, Mangaia, Mauke and Mitiaro. He is also concurrently managing the network upgrades on Mauke and Mitiaro.
